Copyright and Takedown Policy

At User Experience Media ("UX Media"), we are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of artists, producers, creators, and copyright holders. This policy outlines how we handle copyright concerns and takedown requests in accordance with Canadian and international copyright standards.

Our Content Submission and Publishing Process

User Experience Media does not permit public or user-uploaded content directly to our platforms. All content released or promoted by UX Media is:

• Submitted to us by artists or their authorized representatives,
• Reviewed and approved by our internal team prior to publication,
• Published only after mutual agreement and confirmation of rights ownership.

This curation model ensures we maintain quality control and minimize the risk of copyright infringement. However, if you believe your copyrighted work has been used improperly in content published or distributed by UX Media, we take such concerns seriously.

How to Submit a Takedown Request

If you are a copyright holder or legally authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content hosted or distributed by User Experience Media infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notice including the following information:

• Your full legal name, email address, and phone number
• A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• A direct link (URL) or other specific reference to where the allegedly infringing material appears
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
• Your electronic or physical signature

What Happens Next?

• We will promptly review the request
• If the complaint is valid, we will remove or restrict access to the infringing content
• We may notify the party responsible for the content and offer them an opportunity to respond
• If needed, we will work with both parties to resolve disputes or misunderstandings in good faith

We aim to handle all valid requests within 7 business days.

Counter Notices

If a takedown request affects your work and you believe the material was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice. Instructions for this will be provided to the affected party upon removal.
